For those trainees who could no longer benefit from prolonged or intensive training due to ageing or deterioration of health condition, 'Extended Care Programme' is being operated in some Day Activity Centres to provide simple rehabilitation training as well as social, leisure and developmental activities.

• 50 years old or above and receiving DAC service; and
• Assessed by the Standardized Assessment for Residential Services for People with Disabilities to be eligible for HSMH service
• Below 50 years old who are assessed to be eligible for ECP.
