Centre-based Services
• Work Plan Interviews
Regular interviews are conducted to assess service user's needs and work/study barriers, also provide
employment assistance, counselling service to achieve employment goals.
• Job Matching
Job vacancies will be matched with the
service users according to their interest, job skills and
experience in order
to increase their employment opportunity.
• Pre-employment Training Courses and Group Activities
Various skill
trainings and activities are provided for service users to enhance positive
thinking,
increase job knowledge, job searching skills, and provide update
labour market information.
• Post-placement Services
Three months post-placement
services are provided for service users who have been employed to
sustain their
employability.
• Parent-child Activities
Activities are provided
to strengthen parent-child communication and affective interaction. Parenting
and
childcare information are also provided in order to strengthen parent-child
relationship.
• Employer Network
Explore and
build up employer network to provide different job opportunity for service users,
job
matching service for service users and potential employer to achieve
win-win situation.
• Volunteer Services
For strengthen self-confident
and sense of belonging of the communities, volunteer services will be
provided
to service users.
• Provision of District Information
There is resource
corner in every Employment Services Centre, providing latest information to our
service users. Information includes labour market, employment policies, community resources and
assistance subside information.
