Centre Introduction
Date of Operation:
March 2007
Service Objectives:
To provide 24 hours of residential,meal,personal care and professional therapeutic services to our service users;
To maintain the health condition and daily functioning of our services users;
To enhance the quality of life of our service users through a caring and stimulating environment.
Service Targets:
Severely mentally/ physically handicapped persons who are aged 15 or above.
Eligibility for the Service:
Mentally and emotionally stable with no active infectious disease or severe attacking and self-harming behavior;
Not being bed-ridden or requiring substantial medical/nursing care; and
Unfit for day training placement.
Capacity of the Service:
60
Service Hours:
24 hours
Fees and Charges:
Monthly charges will be formulated by Social Welfare Department.
Other charges such as purchasing of daily utilities will be collected according to the policy of Po Leung Kuk.
Application Procedures:
Referrals can be made by Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department.
