Allied Health Service

Allied Health Service in our Centre includes occupational therapist and physiotherapist. Allied health professionals provide service in form of assessment, treatment and consultation.

Occupational Therapy

There are rooms for general treatment, multi-sensory and sensory integration.

Services include:

u  Physical function training

u  Self-care training

u  Social skills training

u  Cognitive function

u  Wheelchair and rehabilitation equipment prescription, adaptation and maintenance

u  Prevention of pressure sores

u  Training to service users, family members, carers and staff

u  Referral to other professional services

Physiotherapy

There is a Physiotherapy room for treatment and training.

Services include:

u  Individualized assessment and training protocol

u  Physical fitness training

u  Pain treatment

u  Chest physiotherapy

u  Recommendations and training on rehabilitation aids

u  Education to carers and service users on health issues

u  Education on caring skills

u  Referral to other professionals
