Eligibility for the service

People with mild moderate mental handicapped and ex-mentally ill persons aged 15 or above.

Acceptance Conditions

• People with mild moderate mentally handicapped upon assessment by clinical psychologists.
• Ex-mentally ill Persons
• With basic self-care skills
• Without active infectious diseases or severs handicap.
• In stable mental and emotional state and without severe violence behavior
• Willing to accept assigned tasks under supervision after passing the competence test.
• Willing to arrange the transport to and from the Centre on their own

Service Hours

From Monday to Friday: 9:00 - 17:00; Saturday 9:00 - 13:00
* The above hours may be varied based on the nature an requirements of the services.

Training Allowance

Trainees receive training allowance and bounty determined by social Welfare Department based on their training and performance.

Charge

Service users who take vehicles of the Centre shall be charged according to rate set by Social Welfare Department. Other fee charge rates, such as those for air-conditioning and activities, are set according to the policy of our Kuk.

Application Procedure

• All referrals can be made by social workers to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services (CRSRehab) of the Social Welfare Department.
• Applicants who applies for supported employment service can directly consult the Centre.

Termination of Service

Either our Kuk or the service applicants / Users can propose rejection / abandonment of application / termination of receiving service. Advance notification to other party should be made on such changes and all relevant formalities should be completed before the change.
